Alakbarov Lachin
Lachin Alakbarov graduated from Guba Private Turkish School in 2000. The same year he started university education in Dokuz Eylul University department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He successfully presented his dissertation on Slip Power Controlled Wound -Rotor Induction Motor System Simulation and got bachelor degree in 2005. The same year he joined BP Exploration Company in Azerbaijan as an electrical engineer. Lachin worked in various assets of company, supported Shah Deniz, Chirag, Deep Water Gunashli, BTC, Sangachal assets. In 2007 he joined Institute of Engineering and Technology and became MIET. He was one of the co-founder of the Caspian Engineers Society which established in 2007 and to day he is acting as a board member. In 2008 Lachin continued his further education in United Kingdom in Bath University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department the faculty of Electrical Power Systems and is in his last year of education of Msc.
During this time he actively worked with social communities, presented technical presentations to university students and engineers. He also provided electrical engineering expertise and consultation as a specialist to local companies like SOCAR, Barama.
His current education in Msc will allow him to further promote in his career to apply to chartered engineering in IET. Also, Lachin is working hard to achieve senior electrical engineer status in his company.
