The Caspian Engineers Society holds its fourth engineering camp project. This project is sponsored by BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Ltd and Qafqaz University. Applications has already started. Caspian Engineers Society as the first professional Engineering Organization in Azerbaijan is moving on giving weekly engineering based seminars to university students.The next seminar about Drilling Engineering Design excellence was given by Elman Mikayilov who got his Ms degree from Heriott Watt University Petroleum Engineering Department and currently works for BP as a Drilling Engineer. Approximately, 60 students from different universities and some professionals attended the seminar which held at Khazar University seminar room on 17th of march 2012.
On Sunday 11th of March Caspian Engineers Society organized its next seminar at Khazar University. The seminar was about LWD Resistivity and presented by Anar Abdulkarim who works as Log Analyst Petrophysicist for Halliburton Company. Approximately, 50 students form different universities such as Azerbaijan Technical University, Qafqaz University, Baku State University, Khazar University and etc. attended in this seminar.
Caspian Engineers Society congratulates all its members and also engineers who represent various engineering areas on the holiday of Novruz.
Caspian Engineers Society is continuing its tradition of preparing professional Engineers for Azerbaijan and making network of Engineers. Mentorship Program organized as a part of this tradition has gained wide recognition among students. As the result of last month selection 50 Students studying at various Azerbaijani universities are selected for the 2012 Mentorship Program.

After a month’s of break Caspian Engineers Society (CES) has started providing university students with engineering based seminars. The first seminar of this term which held at Qafqaz University was organized by CES Information Technologies Committee on the 3rd of march 2012. Approximately 50 students from various universities such as Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Qafqaz University, Khazar University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University attended the software testing seminar which was presented by Javid Kerimov who works for Azercell company as a software testing specialist. He got his Bacheolar degree from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy – Automation of Control Systems and master from ASOA and Georgia University – Computer Information Systems.
