The CES Istanbul Introduction forum took place in Sheratorn Hotel, in 18th November 2011. More than 40 engineering students from various universities i.e.Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, Fatih University, Istanbul University, and etc. attended to the ceremonoy. The main aim of the forum was to present the CES to students and develop CES network in Istanbul among students and engineers. It’s been agreed that these meetings to be arranged in frequent basis.

BP AGT regional president Mr.Rashid Javanshir meets with CES students
The third CES Summer Engineering School (SES) for university students was held on 2-9 July in Qafqaz University. The project was sponsored by BP and Qafqaz University. After selections (described in previous article) 24 students from Azerbaijan State Oil-Gas Academy, Kyung Hee University (South Korea) Qafqaz University, Middle East Technical University and Azerbaijan Technical University had been chosen for participation among more than 200 applicants.

Some members of the Caspian Engineers Society came together in the CES office to pre-celebrate “Noruz” holiday, actually everybody was really looking forward for this event, because of expected funny game – “Mafia”, listening to Fuad’s amazing play on guitar and tasting some sweets while chatting each other.
